Why do some people need their ears cleaned more regularly than others?

Your ear canal shape, the environment that you’re in, and even the weather, can affect how often your ears need cleaning. Everyone’s ears are different, and the amount of earwax you produce can vary from person to person. So, if you notice that you produce more wax than your friends or family, it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong.

In most cases, earwax slowly makes its way out of your ears on its own. But, if you think you may need wax cleared out of your ears, please book a ClearEars appointment. During your 30 minute appointment, our team will use the Tympa Health system to gently and safely microsuction excess wax. We also offer this service during our ear360™ hearing health assessment.
