What are 'hearables'?

Hearables are devices worn on or in the ear that wirelessly connect to a sound signal from another device such as a phone or T.V. They are worn to help people hear in certain situations, whereas professionally fit hearing aids are tuned to a person’s hearing and can be worn all day in many different areas of communication.
