Jenny is passionate about holistic and family-centred care and believes that the support of our loved ones is fundamental to our journey to better hearing and wellbeing. After earning her Master of Audiology from the University of Auckland in 2013 (alongside Resonate audiologists Alec and Blythe!), Jenny built an impressive career. She owned an audiology consulting business and trained provisional audiologists to pass their New Zealand audiology clinical exams. Then, in April 2023, she supported the opening of Resonate Havelock North before moving back down to Canterbury to be closer to her family. Jenny is an accomplished audiologist and one of her best skills is her ability to listen to what our customers say. She believes being a great listener and offering unlimited time is the secret to delivering exceptional customer outcomes. Jenny’s earned a reputation across the Hawke’s Bay for unmatched care and attention to her customers and are thrilled to welcome her to the Christchurch community. Combining her love of science with a role that directly benefits people, Ali chose a career in audiology and has over 35 years of experience in the industry. In her earlier years, she was involved in developing a Newborn Hearing Screening programme while working as a senior audiologist at her local district hospital in Preston, UK. She then managed the Audiology Service department at Southport District Hospital, where she established a successful Tinnitus Clinic. Her aim has always been to ensure that healthcare services are designed around people's needs- a philosophy she’s carried throughout her career. “My approach has always been that the customer is in charge of their care,” she says, recognising her role in helping, informing, and supporting individuals with their hearing health. “A well-informed customer,” she explains, “is more confident and happier with their outcomes.” Ali has a rich history in audiology education, having taught several courses and served as a board member for the British Association of Audiology Technicians. She also spent time on the NZAS council. Ali is a next-level audiologist; she’s a customer advocate and constantly goes the extra mile to ensure that her customers receive outstanding, personalised care and the best hearing health outcomes.
